Inferno Ry on verottajan yleishyödylliseksi määrittämä aatteellinen ja voittoa tavoittelematon tutkimusyhdistys, joka pyrkii edistämään ja toteuttamaan lääketieteellisesti riippumatonta tutkimusta Suomessa. Yhdistyksen tarkoituksena on tukea lääketieteellistä tutkimustyötä ansiokkaiden väitöskirjojen, lääketieteellisten julkaisujen tai käsikirjoitusten toteuttamiseksi, sekä muutoinkin taloudellisesti tukea sellaista lääketieteellistä tutkimustyötä tai muuta toimintaa, jonka tarkoituksena on kohottaa Suomen sairaanhoito- ja terveydenhoito-oloja. Yhdistys hyödyntää toiminnassaan niin julkisia kuin teollisia rahoituslähteitä ja julkistaa saamansa rahoituksen vuosittain Suomalaisten Yhdistysten vuosiraportissa. Lisäksi yhdistys tekee yhteistyötä potilasjärjestöjen kanssa.

2. Repurposing bioactive compounds for adjuvant and maintenance treatment of metastatic or high risk breast cancer
3. Subcutaneously injectable and non-toxic nanostarch particles for controlled and sustained drug delivery
4. Photoactivated biobased nanomatrix for localized treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma
5. Bone-targeted delivery of cytotoxic compounds – destruction of myeloma stem cells in relapsed and refractory multiple myeloma
6. The Efficacy and Safety of Brain-targeting Immune Cells (EGFRvIII-CAR T Cells) in Treating Patients With Leptomeningeal Disease From Glioblastoma

Inferno Ry is a non-profit and unincorporated organization, which has been granted the status of ”common-good promoting non-profit organization” by the Finnish Tax Office. The aim of the organization is to promote and advance high-level medical research by supporting the delivery of PhD theses, scientific publications and manuscripts, and otherwise support such research which improves Finnish treatment and patient management practices. The organization accepts funding from both public and industrial funding sources. All funding that is received is published yearly in the report of the Finnish List Of Non-profit organizations.
